Web Applications

What is a Web Application? We call anything running on the web that has an interactive or changing nature a 'web application'. It could be something as simple as a 'business card' website with a contact form that extracts the traffic source/medium data when your lead submits. It could be as complex as a third-party weather system that integrates live temperature data to an interactive ski resort trail map.

We create websites, SEO-optimized lead generators, eCommerce storefronts, content management systems (CMS), Google-Analytics-integrated forms and conversion points, business operations databases integrated into extranets, sweepstakes and contests, time & billing extranets and more.

Name the type of web application, we've probably seen it or built it:

We try to start each web development project methodically and in organized fashion. We ask the hard questions first, and this helps lay a solid foundation for our relationship:

Just about anyway you need to slice it, we have or can find the right knife for the job.

Sensible World does sensible web designs

What about my website's design?

If you can't tell, we call ourselves engineers and developers, not graphic artists or website designers.

It's not that we don't know a good design when we see it, but we leave most of the graphics to the experts who spend their day seeing the world as a spectrum of colors, paragraph letting, usability and design.

For the past 3 years, we have partnered almost exclusively with Sensible World of Middlebury, Vermont on the graphic design side of our web projects. Their graphic design expertise, tied with the knowledge of what it takes to take a flat design to the web, makes them perfect partners in our labor of love: making your project successful. From user interactivity and complementary colors to proper layout - they get it.
