The Team

Raised on a farm in central Michigan, partially educated in Boston and full time in Vermont, Steve started VickeryHill.com with Ilse Sigmund in 2000. After a long stint in Local and Wide-Area Networking with everyNetwork in Boston, New York City, San Francisco, Atlanta, London and many other places, he took off on the almost-famous SmartBeetle journey as a means to kick start VickeryHill.

He currently lives on Vickery Hill Road in Warren, walks to work and spends time with his wife Carrie, dog Sadie and the Warren Volunteer Fire Department.

After years of learning, teaching and consulting on Google Analytics, Steve finally became a Google Analytics Qualified Individual in July of 2010.

Ilse started VickeryHill.com with Steve in 2000. Life before VickeryHill included Middlebury College, founding student travel business NETC in Boston, MA, corporate stint at IDX in Burlington, VT and travel to as many new destinations as possible in between. Ilse currently splits her time between Jersey City, NJ and Moretown, VT and enjoys spending time with husband Don, two sons Kurt & Derek, friends and family.

Jay joined Vickery Hill in May 2005 and is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance, and search engine optimization of client websites. Prior to his arrival, he was the Marketing & Directory Administrator at Waitsfield & Champlain Valley Telecom. Jay currently resides in Fort Myers, Florida.

In August 2011, Jay became a Google Analytics Qualified Individual.

Lisa lives in northwest NJ, (which actually looks more like VT than it does Newark) with husband Kevin & daughters Sam, Kelsey and Jessica and dog Casey. She got her undergraduate degree at UMASS & her graduate degree at Columbia University. Lisa worked in Marketing - Brand Management/Marketing Research, took some time off to raise 3 daughters and now works on a freelance basis. She helps VickeryHill (and others) keep the money flowing in and out and the books balanced and happy.
