Children’s poet Ted Scheu sought a web presence that resonated with his audience, comprising elementary and junior high children and teachers, and aimed to promote his lifelong passion for writing, performing, and teaching poetry to a wider audience.
In collaboration with SensibleWorld, we crafted a unique approach to utilizing YouTube, Amazon, MailChimp, and captivating illustrations to create a website that was both engaging and relevant to Ted’s book sales and student seminars.
WordPress emerged as our simplified and user-friendly choice for content management. Ted was already proficient in using it, and it offered the convenience of mobile modifications, which was essential for his frequent visits to school sites throughout the year. He needed an easy-to-use platform that allowed him to modify a few sentences, add posts, or make other changes.
As a result, Ted now boasts a modern and visually appealing website that effectively showcases his work. Additionally, he has developed a comprehensive plan to create videos featuring his various poetry characters and effectively communicate with students and teachers through social media platforms like Facebook and broadcast email. These efforts are closely monitored by an advanced Google Analytics event/goal tracking setup.
