The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce has been a client for almost 10 years. We started way back in 2000 with a complete gutting of their site and an integrated content manager using Atomz. The relationship quickly turned into one of technology consultant, helping the marketing efforts by developing member email campaigns and the Chamber's MAWP group's Vermont Wedding website.

In 2008, we worked directly with Branding Agency powerhouse, HMC2Agency, to redesign the site, bring the advanced content management system into the future as well as build a 4x7 calendar system- synchronized with Sugarbush Resort's events calendar and exportable to every member as an XML feed for their own use.

In 2010, Steve was appointed to the Chamber Board of Directors and Marketing Committee. End Result: VickeryHill loves our local Chamber and constantly looks for ways to improve the benefits it provides the membership.

In November of 2010, the Chamber board voted to add Inntopia online booking to the website to 'make it easier' to Come to the Mountains - Stay for the Valley.

Constant Contact? Why not just email from Outlook?

First, Outlook (and most desktop email programs) has limitations on how many people you can email at once. We have seen people get around this by using multiple Distribution Lists...it's a mess!

Second, you are putting your domain at risk. If enough people report you as a SPAMMER because they don't know any better, you could very easily stop getting email from people you want to hear from. Your domain name will be marked on one of the many RBL lists (black lists) that millions of companies subscribe to, and you will spend days and dollars getting yourself removed...temporarily.

Third, it's the law. The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 created legal implications for willy-nilly emailing of your catch-all contact list.
